The jacket's elasticized waistband adjusts with snaps.
The removable mouton collar can be zipped on for warmth.
A warm zip-out vest can be worn when the weather is
cold. An orange emergency vest is stored inside a
small pocket zipped into the lining. A leather tab
holds the Officers rank badge.
You can keep your hands warm in the single-welt front
pockets, secure your wallet in either of the two inside
vertical-welt pockets, and keep your sunglasses in
the zippered pocket set into the left sleeve. There
is even a pencil pocket with FOD cover.
Gibson & Barnes makes the French Air Force jacket
from large, grade-A, chrome tanned, hides. The lining
is comfortable Dacron twill. Knit cuffs are set inside
the sleeves to keep the wind out.
