The original 1930's Army Air Corps A-2 was made from horsehide, but the Air Force changed the specifications to seal brown goatskin when it re-issued the A-2 in 1988. The design has remained the same as in World War II.

The A-2 you get from us will be exactly the same jacket we supply the Air Force. You can have an A-2 just like those we made for the USAF Thunderbirds and President George W. Bush.

When you receive your A-2, take a close look at our workmanship. The epaulets are sewn with a precise box stitch. The stitching accurately follows the graceful curves of the pocket flaps. The solid brass zipper slides smoothly and precisely.

Notice the soft luster of the leather. And because we are very picky about our leather, it takes six goatskins to make one of our A-2’s. Examine the materials, craftsmanship, and fit of our A-2’s and you’ll see that no other jacket even comes close.
