Flight Suits manufactures flight suits,uniforms, jackets, leather jackets, flying helmets, and communications equipment. Our customers are pilots, law enforcement officers, emergency medical personnel, military, test pilots, and individuals.

We started manufacturing with two employees in a 1,000 square foot building in 1977. Over the years we slowly added products and customers, and today we have a 25,000 square foot factory and 115 employees. We sell our products to more than 40,000 customers in the United States, Canada, and 60 other countries.

Flight Suits customers include the astronauts at NASA, US Navy Blue Angels, USAF Thunderbirds, all branches of the U.S. armed Forces, police helicopter units, and hospital helicopter programs. We also supply ambulance companies, agricultural pilots, commercial helicopter operators, the international military, and the movie studios. Nearly every test pilot in the western world uses items manufactured by Flight Suits.

Our original product was fire-resistent NOMEX® and cotton/polyester flight suits for test pilots and police helicopter units. Today we still make flight suits, but we've added one piece uniforms, emergency medical pants, tactical uniforms, and jackets. Most of our products are made to the customer's order, many of them to the customer's individual measurements. Our modern CAD system and computerized cutting helps us make exactly the product you expect.

Flight Suits makes pilots' helmets for fixed-wing jet aircraft and for helicopters. We are Gentex's exclusive United States distributor of flying helmets and helmet parts. Many are custom fit and painted helmets made from wax molds of the customer's head. The helmets are very stable in tight turns in an aircraft. We offer hundreds of colors and paint custom logos, patches, and special designs. Our helmet department also makes communications cables and equipment for use in flying helmets.

Flight Suits manufactures A-2, G-1, Raider, CWU, police patrol and motorcycle jackets. We make the jackets as closely as possible to the original specifications and patterns. The quality of the workmanship is very high with very precise stitching and detailing. We have had to search the world to find the high quality goatskin, cowhide, lambskin, and horsehide we need.. All the jackets are cut by hand by craftsmen who select and match the hides and sewn by experienced, highly skilled tailors.
